We took this cruise April 3-6, 2026. It was my sons 4th cruise, my 6th and both our 2nd Royal Caribbean Cruise.
Booking
I always shop around for the best price. I look online, check with a travel agent and check Costco Travel. Be careful as sometimes a sale like kids free, ended up being more so always check that.
Decide on a room size and then play around with dates. Some dates are cheaper. We love a ocean view balcony.
After you book download the app and get your reservation in. Then I check daily for add on like excursions, drink packages, internet etc. Look at the real price not the percentage off. Sometimes they up the price so the sale looks like a big percentage when it costs more.

Traveling with others:
Get the reservation number and call Royal and connect your accounts. This allows one person to book all things for both groups. If you used a travel agent, have them connect them.
Check in time:
Make sure you get on at midnight on your 45 day to book your get in the boat time. So if day 45 is Tuesday, Monday night at midnight you can do it. Usually 10:30am is the earliest. Have passport info names and passport number and expiration date handy. It will say in app date to check in.
Buy ahead
You can purchase ahead The Key, Drink packages, water park tickets etc. They run specials and you can cancel before you go so grabit at a cheap price. Watcht they sometimes say blank percent off, look at the actual price as tghey upgrade price sometimes to give you discount. I also purchased the Key for $47.99 but got charged a $53.99 fee and ahd to call 1-866-562-7625 to get it adjusted.
Facebook Group
Search on Facebook for cruise name and date Example Utopia April 10-13, 2026. This is a great place to ask questions, meet others cruisers etc.
If you need to cancel something you bought ahead, go online on a desk top. Log in on desk top, click your name top right. Then plan my cruise on the page usually will have your reservation number too. Then click initials top right corner to a drop down to order history then click on the one you bought and then hit cancel.
Coco Cay Island
Snack Shack in the Breezy Beach area has different free food. They have burgers, chicken sandwich, salads, fries, mozzarella sticks, brownies, chocolate chip cookies and funnel cakes.
