In today’s fast-paced world, self-care is evolving beyond traditional spa treatments — and head spas are leading the way. Blending scalp therapy, massage, and deep relaxation techniques, these treatments focus on both hair health and mental well-being. As more people discover the benefits of this rejuvenating experience, head spas are quickly becoming a must-try ritual for stress relief and holistic beauty.
This would be great for couples, alone or even a fun GNO.
I have visited 6 area head spas so far in the Atlanta area and here are my top 3. I would go back to all three. I was given complimentary treatments at each place, but my reviews are all from my experiences. I always leave a tip for my services and hope you do too.
Rooms: 1 or one room has 6 beds
Arrival: you are greeted, switch to slippers and taken to your private room
Feet: My package included a feet treatment. So I went into a room for 2 where they soaked my feet with roses and cleaned them. Say Debbie Discovers referred you and oyu get a free foot treatment.
Head Scalp Camera: My package included a scalp Scan and you can see your build up. At the end they show you again and you see how clean it is. My head felt so light! They also gave me tips for home what to do to not get build up.
Changing: You change into a strapless cover in your private room
Service: I did they Supreme Head Treatment: Experience our Deluxe package, featuring the Signature Head Treatment, House Magic Facial and a rejuvenating Massage—all combined for your ultimate relaxation!
Hair: my package had them blow it dry with a Dyson drier
End: Tea and cream puff
** Check Groupon I saw they are sometimes on there.
4075 Old Milton Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30005 or 11600 Medlock Bridge Rd Suite 130, Johns Creek, GA 30097 ( I went to the Johns Creek one)
Rooms: 1 or 2 beds in each room
Arrival: you are greeted and taken to your room
Changing: You change into a strapless cover in your private room
Service: Head Spa Luxury Revitalize your scalp, release tension, and treat yourself to an indulgent experience with our HeadSpa Luxury - 85 Minutes. Enjoy a deep clean shampoo and detox, a rejuvenating head, neck, and shoulder massage, a nourishing hair steam and mask, and a refreshing facial treatment with exfoliation, face lifting massage, steam eye-mask, and an organic clay/jelly mask. **I do not like netting on my face, makes me Closter phobic) so I asked and they switched me to a collagen sheet mask. So if you are the same you can ask for that.
Hair: Blow your own hair dry, they have driers
End: Tea at the end
7130 Buford Highway, Doraville, GA
Arrival: When you arrive you are greeted and given a foot soak in the front room.
Changing: You go to a private dressing room and put on a strapless cover.
Service: They time appointments staggered here because you then walk into a large room with individual curtain areas. So its like one big room with like 10 or so curtain areas.
I had the 1.5 hour Sapa Deluxe Treatment which is:
Aromatherapy Herbal Heat Pad (Feet, Belly, Eyes) Facial (Cleansing, Face Massage, Refreshing Mask, Balancing Toner, Moisturizer) Facial Massage with Jade Gua Sha Tools Scalp Steaming Scalp Massage and Acupressure Scalp Cleansing Scalp Exfoliation Shampoo and Conditioner Relaxing Neck, Nape, and Shoulder Massages Hydrating Hair Mask All services include an initial 10 minutes of sea salt foot soak, hot towels, and complimentary rough blow-dry for the hair.
Hair: complimentary rough blow-dry for the hair, they just blow it almost dry.
End: A tea and sweet treat
Many ask my favorite but I think a few things come into place: location, your budget, if you want a scalp scan/feet service and if you go with others.
